About Joe McCollum
Joe comes from a family of farmers, growing up in Mahnomen, MN. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a BA in Exercise Science and a Minor in Coaching. Joe and his wife, Amy, moved to Detroit Lakes in 2012. After losing his brother-in-law in 2015, Joe became a founding board member of the Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation, striving to promote a happy and healthy life for combat veterans. Joe and Amy enjoy MN summers and winters, spending their time on the lake or 4-wheeling or snowmobiling on the trails. Joe is an avid deer hunter in the fall, not missing any opportunity to be in the woods.
